Sign-Up

If you're new to PropUP, signing up is your first step.

1. Navigating to Sign-Up: Click the sign-up button located at the top right of the homepage.
2. Choosing a Plan: You'll be directed to a page where you can select a subscription plan. For details on each plan's benefits, refer to the 'Plan Details' section.
3. Completing Your Sign-Up: After selecting your plan, fill in your personal details on the sign-up form and click “continue”. You can also opt to sign up using Google or Metamask.
   • Free Plan Users: You'll be redirected to your dashboard upon completion.
   • Standard/Pro Plan Users: You'll proceed to the Paystack payment portal to enter your payment details.

Sign-In

To access your PropUP dashboard, sign in with your credentials.

1. Navigating to Sign-In: Click the sign-in button at the top right.
2. Accessing the Dashboard: Enter your credentials or use Google or Metamask to log in. You'll be redirected to your dashboard immediately after.

Access the dashboard directly from the navigation bar by clicking on “Dashboard” after logging in.

Use the search box to enter a property URL. Our system matches exact URLs to ensure accurate results.

URL Guidelines

• Include the full URL, starting with ‘https’.
• Ensure there are no spelling mistakes or unnecessary punctuation.
• If no results are found, it may be due to the listing not yet being added, or it's from an unsupported platform.

If No Results Found

• Double-check the URL for accuracy.
• The listing may not be in our database. It may not yet be added, or it’s from an unsupported platform.

Note: PropUP currently only supports listing URLs from Property24.

Explore various aspects of listed properties through the dashboard:

• Listing Overview: Displays key property details like neighborhood, listing duration, and comparative market prices.
• Listing History: Includes a timeline of significant events such as price adjustments or sales.
• Similar Properties Table: Offers insights into comparable properties, helping assess property value. Customize the table by selecting neighborhoods and desired property features.

Subscription Options

• Free Plan: Access all dashboard features with up to 5 searches per month.
• Standard Plan: For R99/month, enhance your capability with 25 searches per month, available for monthly or multi-month (3-month/6-month) subscriptions at a discounted rate.
• Pro Plan: For R159/month, enjoy unlimited searches with the option for multi-month (3-month/6-month) subscriptions at a discount.

Choosing the Right Plan

• Free Plan: Ideal for new users exploring PropUP’s functionalities.
• Standard Plan: Ideal for regular users who require more frequent access.
• Pro Plan: Perfect for professionals seeking comprehensive, unlimited use.

Account Management

Access and update your account details by navigating to the user profile at the top right corner.

Update “My Details”

In this section, you can modify your personal information or manage your web3 wallets and connected accounts. You can also update your password, or delete your account.

Note: Deleting your account will automatically cancel your subscription, and you will no longer have access to PropUP. Only delete your account if you are 100% sure you no longer want to use PropUP. You can easily downgrade to the free subscription by referring to the “Update Subscription” section below.

Update “My Subscription”

In this section, you can modify or cancel your subscription. Should you choose to cancel or change your subscription, you will retain access to all features of your current plan until it expires. Upon expiration, your account will automatically update to reflect the new subscription choice.

If you decide to cancel your subscription, your account will default to the free subscription option once the current plan expires. If you choose to stop using PropUP altogether, you have the option to delete your account.

Billing

Billing cycles depend on the chosen plan.

• Monthly plans: Billed monthly from the subscription date.
• 3-month and 6-month plans: Billed every three or six months, respectively.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time; and you will have access to the service until the end of the current billing period.

Agent comparison

PropUP will offer a feature allowing you to directly compare your property agent with others in the same neighborhood or those specializing in similar types of properties. This feature enables you to evaluate if your agent is competitive, comparing their sales performance in terms of pricing and speed against their peers. It's a practical tool for assessing agent effectiveness and ensuring you have the right representation for your property needs.

Listing trend graph

Our upcoming Listing Trend Graphs will offer deeper insights into the real estate market trends. You'll be able to analyze various metrics such as average listing prices, number of listings, sales volume, days on market, price reductions, and the distribution of sold prices. Additionally, we plan to include data on how quickly properties are sold (churn), enhancing your ability to make informed decisions based on current market dynamics. These graphs will be available by suburb, property type, and size.

Financial calculators

Soon, PropUP will enhance your property investment planning with a range of financial calculators. These essential tools are crafted to support various financial assessments:

• Affordability Calculator: This calculator will help you understand how much you can comfortably spend on property, aligning your purchase with your financial landscape.
• Mortgage Calculator: Use this tool to calculate your monthly mortgage payments, providing clarity for your financial planning when considering a new home.
• Capital Appreciation Calculator: Estimate the potential future value of your property, enabling you to assess the long-term growth of your investment.

Interactive map

Our upcoming interactive map feature will allow you to view properties by applying various filters to meet your specific criteria. Each property on the map includes detailed information to help you make well-informed decisions about your next investment.The feature is designed for ease of navigation across different locations, helping you better understand the property landscape in your areas of interest.
